Our colt starting program is built around creating a solid, willing foundation that lasts. We focus on starting young horses the right way—with clear communication, consistent pressure and release, and a calm, fair approach that builds confidence instead of fear. Every colt receives a strong start on the ground, solid fundamentals under saddle, and exposure to real-world situations to help them learn to think through pressure rather than react to it. We don’t rush steps or take shortcuts; our goal is to produce a broke, respectful, and versatile horse that’s prepared for whatever job comes next, whether that’s ranch work, performance, or being a dependable partner 

By the end of our program your horse will ride like a performance horse, work like a ranch horse, have ground manners like no others, stick their head into the halter, pick up the bit when tacking and be versatile for any job you give it! (roping, reining, cow work, trail riding) 

Our program does require a 3 month minimum. We do this in order to give not only the horses the best training and experience but also to provide our clients with the results they desire and deserve. Basic cost covers training, feed, and board. The client will be responsible for any additional expenses that arise such as veterinarian work or farrier work. All additional costs will be discussed with client for approval. Please note as well that every horse is different and we may recommend additional time.  

* If we feel the horse is dangerous or otherwise not going to suit your needs, we will advise you within
2-3 weeks and allow or ask you to come and retrieve the animal from our care.
